What happened to the Mazda window sticker link?
A mazdausa.com sticker address still circulates online. When we tested it on October 20, 2026, it returned a 404 error page, and we found no other public Mazda sticker URL. For the original Mazda window sticker, ask a Mazda dealer to print it from the VIN, or look through the purchase paperwork that came with the car.
The spec sheet above works today for any Mazda VIN. It decodes the factory build with NHTSA's vPIC and adds EPA fuel economy, NHTSA crash ratings and the recalls NHTSA lists for that model and year.
Same mpg, different fuel cost: the Mazda CX-90 and CX-70
The CX-90 and CX-70 with the 3.3-liter turbo six, which EPA describes as a mild hybrid, are listed twice for 2026: once on regular fuel and once on premium. Both versions are rated at 25 mpg combined, but the regular-fuel version's annual fuel cost is $2,700 and the premium version's is $3,300. EPA names the CX-70 versions Hybrid Boost Low Power (regular) and Hybrid Boost High Power (premium). The VIN alone may not tell them apart, which is why the spec sheet shows fuel economy only when the match is clear. A Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek, listed on premium, is rated 2 mpg below a regular-fuel Pathfinder 4WD, and EPA puts its annual fuel cost $1,000 higher.
The plug-in models carry a two-part label, with an electric box in MPGe and a gas box in mpg. EPA rates the 2026 CX-90 plug-in hybrid at 27 miles on electricity and 26 mpg on gas, and the CX-70 plug-in at 32 miles and 26 mpg.

Where was my Mazda built?
The VIN's first three characters tell you. Per vPIC, JM1 (cars) and JM3 (SUVs) belong to Mazda Motor Corporation in Japan, 3MZ (cars) and 3MV (SUVs) to Mazda's plant in Mexico, and 7MM to Mazda Toyota Manufacturing in the US, a code vPIC lists for both Mazda and Toyota. The decode adds the plant city.
The window sticker names the final assembly point, and for a car built abroad the law counts the port of importation as that point. New cars also carry a parts content label with the final assembly city and country, the share of US and Canadian parts, and where the engine and transmission came from. For the rest of the VIN, use the Mazda VIN decoder.
Mazda crash ratings on the window sticker
NHTSA's 2025 ratings give the CX-5 and CX-50 5 stars overall, 5 for frontal and side crashes and 4 for rollover. The CX-90 also earned 5 stars overall, with 4 stars frontal. The spec sheet shows NHTSA's ratings for your VIN's model and the recalls NHTSA has on file for that model and year. To see whether a recall is still open on a specific car, enter the VIN at NHTSA's recall lookup.
Pricing a used Mazda for your lot
On a used CX-90, the trim and the engine version change what the car is worth, and the original sticker is the quickest proof of both. Without it, the free window sticker maker prints a used-car sheet from the VIN with your price, mileage and features. The Buyers Guide is required on the window either way.
