iPacket is sold after a demo, with no published price. These are the other ways to send shoppers a car's photos, window sticker, history and price, from a full page for every car to a free do-it-yourself packet, with what each one costs. Every fact comes from each company's own site.

What are the best iPacket alternatives?

iPacket turns a car's paperwork into one web page, which it calls a digital vehicle presentation, and alerts the salesperson when a shopper opens it. It's sold after a demo, and its price isn't published. If you want the same result without the demo, or you only need part of what it does, these are the options:

  • CarShots Car Pages: a page for every car, made from its studio photos and walkaround video, with the window sticker, recalls, history link and price, plus live alerts when a shopper opens it on Car Pages Pro.
  • AutoBio by Protomiq: a vehicle report on your website's car pages, with alerts when a past lead comes back to it.
  • CarWhere: a button on your website that opens the original window sticker for 12 brands.
  • DealerAddendums: printed addendums, Buyers Guides and info sheets with a QR code.
  • Spyne: AI photos and video tours, plus a free window sticker maker.
  • A free packet you put together yourself from a window sticker lookup, the Buyers Guide, NHTSA's recall lookup and your history report.

The right one depends on which part of iPacket you actually use. Our guide on what an iPacket is breaks down each part.

CarShots Car Pages: a page for every car, with photos first

Car Pages is the closest match to what iPacket does. Every car you shoot in CarShots gets its own page: the studio photos lead, a 15-second 360° walkaround video sits under them, and then come the window sticker, the safety recalls NHTSA lists for the model, a link to your CARFAX or AutoCheck report, your price with your fees and the total, and the FTC Buyers Guide in English and Spanish on used cars. Shoppers can send your team a question from the page.

Salespeople share a car with a shopper's name, and the shopper gets a personal link by text or email. Every plan counts each car's views, leaving out the automatic opens from link scanners, and sends a daily summary email. Car Pages Pro adds who's looking, with each shopper's time on each part of the page, the devices they used and a hot score, and live alerts by email and text. A QR card on the window opens the same page on the lot.

Car Pages are included with CarShots at $50 a month for 333 photos, month to month. Car Pages Pro is $149 a month per rooftop with the same photos included, and adds CRM leads by ADF/XML email, a website badge and AI that reads the stickers and repair orders you upload. Where iPacket is stronger: it pulls original window stickers from more than 30 automakers by VIN, where a Car Page shows the original only when the automaker posts it online or you upload it, and it loads repair orders from your DMS every day, where someone uploads them to Car Pages. Our CarShots vs iPacket comparison goes row by row.

AutoBio by Protomiq: a vehicle report on your website

AutoBio comes from Protomiq, the company formerly known as TradePending. It puts a VIN-specific report on your website's car pages: vehicle history, safety ratings, awards, photos, videos and window stickers, with your dealership's branding. When a past lead comes back to a report, your team gets an alert, and Protomiq says AutoBio has a two-way CRM integration.

The difference from iPacket is where it lives: AutoBio's report sits on your own website's car pages, so shoppers stay on your site. Protomiq doesn't publish prices on its site: you fill in a form for starting prices or book a demo. It's a good fit for a store that wants richer car pages on its website and already has a CRM to catch the alerts.

Our CarShots vs AutoBio comparison sets AutoBio beside Car Pages, row by row.

CarWhere: original window stickers on your website

If the part of iPacket you use most is the original window sticker, CarWhere does just that. It adds a View Window Sticker button to your website's car pages that opens the automaker's original sticker as a PDF, for 12 brands: Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Ford, Lincoln, Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler, Hyundai and Genesis. It also has an API that tells you, VIN by VIN, whether a sticker is available.

Pricing is published: $99 a month per rooftop with unlimited lookups, a 14-day free trial and no contract. CarWhere says Toyota and Lexus stopped public sticker access in 2026 and Kia removed its service, so it doesn't cover those brands. There are no shopper alerts and no packet, just the sticker.

Our CarShots vs CarWhere comparison sets the sticker button beside a full Car Page.

DealerAddendums: printed addendums and Buyers Guides

DealerAddendums handles the paper on the window rather than a web page. It prints vehicle addendums, FTC Buyers Guides in English and Spanish, and pre-owned and certified info sheets with your logo, a QR code and an optional price. It says more than 1,600 dealerships use it and that it has been in business since 2014.

Plans are published and month to month: $100 a month if you load cars by hand or spreadsheet, $150 when inventory comes in automatically from your website provider, and $200 for a direct DMS connection. There's a free trial with no card. It won't alert you when a shopper looks, though its info sheets carry a QR code for shoppers on the lot.

Our CarShots vs DealerAddendums comparison covers addendums, Buyers Guides and prices in detail.

Spyne: AI photos with a free window sticker maker

Spyne sells AI car photos, car tours and video tours to dealers, priced by quote. It isn't a packet tool, but its free window sticker maker decodes a VIN into a branded sticker with your price and features, and every sticker carries a QR code to the car's online ad. Pair it with your listing and you have a printed sticker that leads to photos online.

If you're weighing Spyne for photos, our CarShots vs Spyne comparison covers price, terms and trials.

A free iPacket alternative you put together yourself

A small lot can give shoppers most of what a packet holds without paying for one. Collect these for each car and put them on the car's page on your website, or in one message when a shopper asks:

  • Window sticker: look up the original by VIN with our free window sticker lookup, which links to the automaker's own copy when it's posted online.
  • A sticker for the window: print one for a used car with our free window sticker maker, with your price, features and a QR code to the car's page.
  • Buyers Guide: print the FTC form for each used car in English or Spanish with our free Buyers Guide maker.
  • Recalls: check each VIN on NHTSA's recall lookup and note what's been fixed.
  • History: the link from your CARFAX or AutoCheck dealer account.
  • Photos: the part shoppers look at first. Clean, consistent photos on one backdrop make every car look cared for.

You won't know who opened what, and someone has to keep it up to date as cars sell. That's the trade for free.

Which iPacket alternative is right for your dealership?

Start with the job you need done, not the feature list:

  1. You text cars to shoppers and want to know who looks

Car Pages gives every car a page with a personal link per shopper. Every plan counts views, and Car Pages Pro adds live email and text alerts when a shopper opens it.

  2. You want more on your own website's car pages

AutoBio puts history, safety ratings and stickers on your car pages and alerts you when a past lead returns.

  3. You only need the original sticker online

CarWhere adds the button for 12 brands at a flat price per rooftop.

  4. You need paperwork printed for the window

DealerAddendums prints addendums, Buyers Guides and info sheets from any device.

  5. You need originals for most brands and repair orders from your DMS

Stay with iPacket. Nothing else here does both.

Common questions

What is the cheapest iPacket alternative?

A packet you put together yourself is free: a window sticker lookup, the FTC Buyers Guide, NHTSA's recall lookup and your history report link. Among paid tools, CarWhere is $99 a month per rooftop for original stickers only, and CarShots Car Pages are included in CarShots at $50 a month, with studio photos and a walkaround video of every car.

Who are iPacket's competitors?

AutoBio by Protomiq, CarWhere, DealerAddendums, Spyne and CarShots Car Pages each do part of what iPacket does. Car Pages and AutoBio come closest, since both put a car's documents together and alert you when a shopper looks.

Can an iPacket alternative show the original window sticker?

Yes, for some brands. CarWhere shows originals for 12 brands, and a Car Page links the automaker's original when it's posted online, shows one you upload, and otherwise shows a labeled spec sheet. iPacket says it has originals from more than 30 automakers.

Do iPacket alternatives tell you when a shopper opens a car's page?

Car Pages Pro alerts you by email and text when a shopper opens their link and when they come back, and every Car Pages plan sends a daily summary of views. AutoBio alerts you when a past lead returns to a report. CarWhere and DealerAddendums don't send shopper alerts.

Is there an iPacket alternative without a contract?

Yes. CarShots, CarWhere and DealerAddendums all publish month-to-month plans. iPacket and AutoBio don't publish their terms, so ask on the demo, and Spyne's terms set a term in each order form that renews automatically unless you give 30 days' notice.

Studio-quality photos of every car, from your phone

Your first car is free, up to 10 photos, with no card. When you want more, the 7-day trial includes 20 photos and a 360° video.
