Car Pages

A page for every car, with its photos, sticker, history and price

Every car you shoot with CarShots gets its own page: studio photos, a 360° walkaround video, the window sticker, the model's recalls, a history report link and the price with your fees. Text it to a shopper in a tap. Car Pages Pro shows who's looking and where they spend their time, and alerts you when they come back.

What is a Car Page?

A Car Page is a web page for one car on your lot. CarShots makes it from the photos you shoot, so it's ready as soon as the car is: the studio photos lead, the 360° walkaround video sits right under them, and the paperwork a shopper asks about comes next. Shoppers open it in their browser on any phone or computer. There's no app to download and nothing to sign in to.

Dealers have a few names for this: a vehicle packet, a digital vehicle presentation, a digital window sticker. The best-known version is iPacket, which dealers buy after a sales demo. Car Pages does the same job inside CarShots, with no demo and no separate contract. If you've been sent an iPacket and wondered what it is, our guide on what an iPacket is explains it.

What's on a Car Page?

Every Car Page has the same parts, in the order shoppers look for them:

Part of the pageWhat the shopper sees
Studio photosEvery photo from your CarShots shoot, on the backdrop you picked.
360° walkaround videoThe 15-second walkaround CarShots makes from the car's photos, with voiceover and music.
Window stickerThe automaker's original sticker when it posts one online, a copy you upload, or a spec sheet built from the VIN. The page always says which one it is.
RecallsThe model's recalls: the safety recalls NHTSA lists for the car's make, model and year.
Vehicle historyA link to the car's history report: your CARFAX or AutoCheck link, or NICB's free VINCheck.
Price and feesYour price, with your dealer fees listed and the total.
Buyers GuideOn used cars, the FTC Buyers Guide, in English and Spanish.
Your dealershipYour contact details, and a question form that sends the shopper's message to your team.
Priced right, if you check itA badge when your price is at or below the middle of the market, for 1 credit to check. Above the middle, no badge shows.

The recalls list covers the model, not this one car. To see whether a recall is still open on a car, look up its VIN on NHTSA's site. A credit is one photo from your plan.

How do you send a Car Page?

Send it the moment a shopper asks about a car, while they're still looking:

  1. Shoot the car

Shoot it in CarShots the way you do now. When the photos are done, so is the car's page.

  2. Make a link for the shopper

Open the car in CarShots and share it. Add the shopper's name and they get a personal link of their own. On Car Pages Pro, their visits show under their name. Deciding between cars? Pick two to six on your car list and send them in one link.

  3. Send it your way

Text it, email it, or copy the link into a message from your CRM. On Pro, a template link in your CRM opens the right car's page by its VIN.

  4. Put it on the window

Print the car's QR card, or a window sticker with a QR code that opens its page, so shoppers on the lot can scan it.

Know when a real shopper is looking

A page view only matters if a person made it. Email security filters and link previews open links on their own, often within seconds of a message landing, which is why many tracked links report opens that never happened. Car Pages leaves those automatic opens out of its counts, so the views you see are people.

On the plan, each car shows how many people viewed its page, and a daily summary email tells you which cars drew the most views, so nobody has to remember to check.

Car Pages Pro adds who's looking, the way document tracking shows who read a file. Tap a shopper's name to see how long they spent on the page, which parts held their attention (the photos, the video, the window sticker, the history report), how much of the video they watched, and each visit with the device it came from. A hot score of Hot, Warm or Browsing sums it up.

Live alerts by email and text, each with a suggested reply, tell you when a shopper opens their link and when they come back, because that return visit is often the moment to call. If their link opens on a second phone or computer, you hear about that too: they may have passed the car to a spouse or a co-buyer. Texts go only to your own phone or a rep's, never to shoppers.

One page shows your hottest shoppers across every car and a live feed of their visits, with a CSV of the last 90 days. You can change who a link is for, or turn a link off. And when a shopper is deciding between cars, send two to six of them in one link; on Pro you see which ones they opened.

What does Car Pages Pro add?

Car Pages Pro is for stores that work their leads from the car's page. It's $149 a month per rooftop, and the plan's 333 photos a month are included. On top of everything above, it adds:

  • Who's looking: each shopper's time on each part of the page, how much of the video they watched and every visit by device, with a hot score
  • Live alerts by email and text with a suggested reply, including when a link opens on a second device
  • A live feed of shoppers across all your cars, a CSV of 90 days of visits, and links you can reassign or turn off
  • A template link for your CRM that opens the right car's page from its VIN, and leads sent to your CRM as ADF/XML email
  • A Car Page button for your website, and an inventory feed of your pages
  • AI that reads the window stickers and repair orders you upload
  • Answers to shoppers' questions, drawn only from the car's own page
  • Price-drop emails to shoppers who saved the car
  • Reps, a weekly report, and group reports across rooftops
  • Your own Meta pixel and GA4 on your pages
  • A start without shooting: paste your inventory link, and every car is imported and synced nightly, with no new photos needed

The CRM link and lead emails work with any CRM that takes ADF email or has a VIN merge field. They aren't certified partner integrations, and no CRM has endorsed them. Our setup guides show where the link goes in VinSolutions, Elead, DealerSocket, DriveCentric, Tekion, Reynolds Focus, Momentum, ProMax and OpLogic.

Put the page on the window with a QR code

Shoppers walk the lot after hours, and the paper on the window is all they have. Every Car Page comes with a QR card to print for the window. Our free window sticker maker prints a used car's sticker from its VIN, with your price and features, and its QR code can open the car's page too. The free dealer addendum maker does the same for the add-ons you put on a car, with a total and a QR code. The shopper scans it, sees the photos, the video and the paperwork, and can send you a question from the same page.

How is Car Pages different from iPacket?

iPacket is the best-known vehicle packet, and it's stronger in some places. It pulls original window stickers by VIN and says it covers more than 30 automakers, so it can often show the original where a Car Page shows a spec sheet unless you upload the sticker. It loads repair orders from a dealer's management system every day. Car Pages doesn't connect to a DMS; on Pro, AI reads the repair orders you upload. iPacket says it works with more than 150 platforms, and GM dealers can use co-op money on it.

Car Pages starts from the other end: the car's studio photos and walkaround video, made in the same app your team shoots with. It's self-serve, there's no demo or separate contract, and both prices are published on this page and our pricing page. Our CarShots vs iPacket comparison goes through the differences line by line.

What does Car Pages cost?

Every car you shoot on the CarShots plan gets a Car Page. The plan is $50 a month for 333 photos, month to month with no contract, and there's no setup fee and nothing per page. A priced-right check costs 1 credit, only when you ask for it.

Car Pages Pro is $149 a month per rooftop, with the plan's 333 photos included, so a store on Pro doesn't pay for the plan on top. Already on the plan? Pro adds the difference, for $149 a month in total. Pro has no free trial, and there's no launch discount.

To try Car Pages, sign up and shoot your first car free, up to 10 photos with no card. That car's page works as a demo: send it to yourself and see what a buyer sees. After that, the plan starts with a 7-day trial with 20 photos and a 360° video.

Common questions

Do shoppers need an app to open a Car Page?

No. A Car Page opens in the browser on any phone or computer, with nothing to download and no sign-in.

Can I see who opened my Car Page?

On the plan, each car shows how many people viewed its page, and a daily summary email rounds up the views. Email security filters and link previews open links on their own, so those opens aren't counted. Car Pages Pro shows who's looking: each shopper's visits through their personal link, how long they spent on each part of the page, how much of the video they watched and which devices they used, with a hot score, plus live alerts by email and text when they open it, come back or open it on another device.

Does a Car Page show the original window sticker?

When the automaker posts the car's original window sticker online, the page links to it. You can also upload the sticker, or the page shows a spec sheet built from the VIN, and it always says which one it is. On Car Pages Pro, AI reads the options and prices from the stickers you upload.

Does a Car Page show recalls?

Yes. Each page lists the model's recalls: the safety recalls NHTSA has for the car's make, model and year. To see whether a recall is still open on one car, look up its VIN on NHTSA's site.

Can I send a Car Page from my CRM?

Yes. On any plan, copy the shopper's personal link into a text or email from your CRM. Car Pages Pro adds a template link that opens the right car's page from your CRM's VIN merge field, and sends leads to your CRM as ADF/XML email. Both work with any CRM that takes ADF email or has a VIN merge field. They aren't certified partner integrations.

Is Car Pages an iPacket alternative?

Yes. Both give each car a page with its paperwork that a salesperson sends to a shopper. Car Pages leads with studio photos and a walkaround video, it's self-serve, and its prices are published: a page for every car with the $50 plan, and Car Pages Pro at $149 a month per rooftop for who's looking, live alerts and CRM leads. iPacket is sold after a demo with no published price, and adds stored original window stickers and repair orders from your management system.
