Paper on the window or a page for every car?
DealerAddendums, from DealerAddendums LLC, has made addendum software since 2014 and says more than 1,600 dealerships use it. It prints the documents that go on a car's window: addendums that list your dealer-installed products and their prices, FTC Buyers Guides, and info sheets for pre-owned and certified cars with your logo, a QR code and an optional price. On its automatic plans, inventory loads itself from your website provider or DMS, so a new arrival's addendum is ready to print.
CarShots starts from the photos. Every car you shoot gets studio photos, a 15-second walkaround video and its own Car Page, which puts the window sticker, the model's recalls, a history report link, your price with your fees and the Buyers Guide on one link that salespeople text to shoppers. The two can work side by side: paper on the window for shoppers on the lot, and a page for the shopper still deciding at home.
Which one is better for addendums?
DealerAddendums, by a distance. You set up a product once, such as paint protection or a theft-deterrent package, with rules for which cars get it by make, model, trim, year, body style, mileage or fuel type, and every matching car's addendum includes it, new arrivals too. Its Combo Addendum keeps required add-ons apart from optional ones, so a buyer can see at a glance what they can decline. Restylers and upfitters who work for several stores can get one account with a template for each store.
Our free dealer addendum maker prints an addendum for any car: list the add-ons and their prices, and it adds a clear total, your logo and a QR code to the car's page. A Car Page shows your price with your dealer fees and the total, so shoppers see the full price online before they reach the lot.
FTC Buyers Guides in English and Spanish
Every used car a dealer offers for sale needs an FTC Buyers Guide in its window, and when a sale is conducted in Spanish, the guide has to be in Spanish too. DealerAddendums prints As Is, Implied Warranties Only and warranty Buyers Guides in English and Spanish on all of its plans.
Our free Buyers Guide form fills in the same FTC form, front and back, in English, Spanish or both, with the year, make and model from the VIN and nothing to sign up for. Each used car's Car Page also carries its Buyers Guide in English and Spanish, so a shopper can read the warranty terms before they visit. The FTC's Dealer's Guide to the Used Car Rule explains each version.
What shoppers see online
DealerAddendums' Magic Button puts the PDF addendum on your website's car pages, so shoppers online see the same products and prices as shoppers on the lot, and its info sheets carry a QR code. Its site doesn't list view counts or shopper alerts.
A Car Page is a web page of its own rather than a PDF. Salespeople send it to each shopper as a personal link by text or email, alone or with up to 5 other cars in one link. The QR card on the window opens it, and once a page has 4 or more photos, a price, the VIN and your city, it can show up in search. Every plan counts the page's real views and emails you a daily summary. Car Pages Pro, at $149 a month per rooftop, adds a badge for your website's car pages, an inventory feed, and who's looking: the time each shopper spends on each part of the page and on which devices, with a hot score. Live alerts by email and text tell you when a shopper opens the link, comes back, or opens it on a second device.
What does DealerAddendums cost compared with CarShots?
DealerAddendums publishes month-to-month plans with no setup fee: $100 a month if you load cars one at a time or from a spreadsheet, $150 when inventory comes in from your website provider or a syndication company, and $200 for a direct DMS connection with a two-way inventory feed and AI vehicle descriptions. Color-matched stock photos on the addendum are an add-on at $50 a month, labels are extra, and groups with 2 or more rooftops can ask for a discount. Its terms say invoices aren't prorated when you downgrade or cancel.
CarShots is $50 a month for 333 photos, month to month, and every car you shoot gets a Car Page. Car Pages Pro is $149 a month per rooftop with the same photos included. The window sticker maker and the Buyers Guide form are free. Prices are on our pricing page.

Car Pages count each car's real views and email you a daily summary, and Car Pages Pro adds live alerts; DealerAddendums doesn't list view counts or shopper alerts.
Free tools for the window
Our window sticker maker and FTC Buyers Guide form cost nothing, with the car filled in from its VIN. So does our dealer addendum maker.
When DealerAddendums may be the better choice
DealerAddendums may suit you better if:
- You want addendums that build themselves. DealerAddendums pulls inventory from your website provider, a syndication company or your DMS, and adds your products to each car by rules such as make, model, trim and mileage.
- You print on the lot at volume. Its iPhone app scans a VIN, QR code or barcode, builds the addendum on the spot and AirPrints it, and DealerAddendums sells the label stock.
- You want the printed addendum online too. Its Magic Button shows shoppers the same PDF addendum on your website's car pages, so the listing carries the same disclosures as the window.
